Toppit grid open rules

Lap 1 — the grid is empty. Pole is the first move: the first car in with 1,000 TOPPIT or more starts on P1, and once a second car joins, the lowest stake is pitted every lap and split across the cars still running.

      How a race runs

      1. Grid a car. One car per wallet, at least 1,000 TOPPIT. Nine cars on the grid, open until the first pit.
      2. Each lap. When the lap clock runs out, the lowest stake is pitted. 3% goes to the house, 20% into the pot, and the rest splits evenly across every car still running. A tie pits the car that gridded later. Add to your stake before the flag to stay off the bottom.
      3. Final lap. When one car is left it takes its whole stake, every split it collected, and the pot. The next race opens.

      A pit, with real numbers

      Six cars running: 40,000 · 30,000 · 22,000 · 18,000 · 15,000 · 12,000. The flag drops and car on 12,000 is pitted: 360 rake, 2,400 to the pot, 9,240 split five ways. Every car still running gains +1,848 — the field is now 41,848 · 31,848 · 23,848 · 19,848 · 16,848.

Next lap the 16,848 is pitted: 505 rake, 3,370 to the pot (5,770 now), 12,973 split four ways — +3,243 each. Laps keep going like that until one car is left.

That car takes its stake, every split it collected, and the whole pot.
